Ephraim Rudman

Chair

Ephraim Rudman is Partner, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Apollo, with focus on financial services, yield platforms and yield partnerships for Apollo's equity and debt businesses. Prior to joining in 2019, Ephraim was with GE Capital for 15 years, most recently as Head of M&A and Portfolio Strategy. Ephraim graduated summa cum laude from Touro College with a BA in Political Science and received his JD from Columbia Law School. Ephraim also serves as Treasurer and Board Member of Congregation Beth Sholom in Lawrence, NY.

Paul Ellis

Paul Ellis is a retired partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Across more than three decades at PwC’s London, Frankfurt and New York offices, Paul specialized in accounting and advisory services, working extensively with private equity portfolio companies. In addition to his board role at Eliant, Paul is a Trustee of the Bank Street College of Education. Paul is both a Certified Public Accountant in the US and a Chartered Accountant in England. He has Masters degrees from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and from the University of Manchester in England.

Philip Greuter

Philip Greuter

Philip Greuter is a Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Apollo, with a focus on European life insurance and yield platforms. He currently serves on the board of directors of Eliant and Haydock Finance, and has previously served on the board of directors of Summit Leasing Slovenija and the holding company for Amissima insurance. Prior to joining Apollo in 2014, Philip was a member of the Financial Institutions Group EMEA at Barclays and the Swiss M&A Group at Lazard. Philip graduated from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with a BA in Business Administration.

Ilkka Hameri

Ilkka Hameri

Ilkka Hameri is a Principal, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Apollo, with a focus on yield investments. Ilkka joined Apollo in 2018 in the Hybrid Value team. Prior to joining Apollo, Ilkka worked in the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs. Ilkka graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BSc in Economics.

Eric Hanno

Eric Hanno

Eric Hanno is the Co-Head of Apollo Aligned Alternatives ("AAA") and a Member of the AAA Investment Committee. Previously, Eric was a Partner at The Carlyle Group where he was Co-head of AlpInvest's Primary Investment Team, and a Member of AlpInvest's Global Investment and Management Committees. During his tenure at Carlyle, he led the initiative to launch AlpInvest's semi-liquid private market fund and the Firm's balance sheet investments in Chronograph and Canoe. Prior to that, Eric was a Senior Vice President on the Private Equity Investment Team at Partners Group and he began his career at Goldman Sachs. Eric graduated as an Honors Scholar from Colorado State University with a BBA degree in Finance and Computer Information Systems and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Reed Rayman

Reed Rayman

Reed Rayman is a Partner in private equity at Apollo and focuses on investments in the technology and media sectors. Reed serves as Chairman of the Board of Yahoo! and additionally sits on the Board of Directors of Western Digital, Shutterfly, ADT Security, Coinstar and EcoATM. Reed was also involved in Apollo’s April 2020 COVID-period rescue financings for Expedia and Cimpress. Prior to joining Apollo in 2010, Reed was a member of the Principal Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs, and previously was a member of the Industrials Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs. Reed graduated from Harvard with an AB in Economics. He is a Vice Chair of the Private Equity Executive Council of the UJA Federation of New York and a board member of New Visions for Public Schools, and was previously actively involved as a mentor and Young Professionals Board member at the TEAK Fellowship.

Paulomi Shah

Paulomi Shah

Paulomi Shah is Partner, Operations and Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Trade Operations. Prior to joining in 2019, Paulomi was Managing Director and Head of Operational Risk for Bank of America's Global Banking and Markets business. Paulomi graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York with a BA in Political Science. She is a director for Citizens Committee of New York City.

Mark Suter

Mark Suter

Mark Suter has been a Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Apollo since 2021 and is responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight of Apollo’s yield generating platforms. Between 2009 and 2020, Mark was an executive of three Apollo portfolio companies: Group Chief Operating Officer of Athora Holding Ltd; Chief Integration Officer of Athene Holding Ltd; and COO of an entity developing a US banking platform. Prior to his roles at Apollo-sponsored companies, he co‐founded and was a senior deposit and lending executive of Countrywide Bank, the 11th largest national bank in the US. He currently serves on the board of Eliant and Aqua Finance and previously served on the Boards of Directors of EVO Banco (Spain) and three of Athora’s carriers in Belgium, Bermuda, and Germany. He holds a BS in Economics, cum laude, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
